Changes ahead…

Hi Maddicts!

First of all I want to say thank you to all of you who have reached out to me over the past few weeks with your messages of love and support. You guys are incredible, and I can’t believe how lucky I am to have you all supporting me <3

Following all of your feedback, I’ve decided to keep MBA, and focus on making it more of a resource based site – somewhere you can still refer people who are new to mesh and wanting to make the change, and somewhere you can still access information about products, what’s new and of course tutorials and information.

I’ll be focused on making these changes over the holidays – so just in case you hit the website and it looks crazy, or it won’t load, just know that I’m making these changes in the back end and that the website isn’t really gone (I’ve probably just hit the wrong button somewhere) haha.

In the spirit of resources and sharing the love with all the amazing bloggers out there, I’d like to invite you guys to make any suggestions for useful tutorials you’ve made for mesh heads, mesh bodies, bento and everything related to them. I’d love this page to be a combined resource of all the amazing talent in SL, and I know there are some incredible tutorials out there. So if you’ve made one that you’re happy for me to include (credited of course), written or video, drop the deets below!

<3 and hugs,

Dar xxx

  1. Feel free to link to these. I’m focusing more on GA.EG simply cause a lot of questions in the group are based on were do I find skins etc. I also am looking at expanding into LAQ and Altamura.

The Upgrade page is really more about process and my experience.

The skin, cosmetics, Nails and Tattoo’s page is more about building and maintaining a resource that makes it easy for people to pick what stores to visit.

  2. I think it is great you seem so excited. I know that I would never have made the transition to mesh without your informative site. Not just the reviews (though those are a HUGE help.) but the tutorials were huge. I’m not the most ‘tech’ savvy person out there. You helped me get it all figured out pretty easily. It is very obvious this has been a labor of love from the very start. I don’t make tutorials but I will be checking back to see what gets posted. Especially with you having opened up to the whole community for listing tutorials. I look forward to learning and growing my knowledge base here!

In case it hasn’t been said enough – THANK you for all you have done. Also, I hope you and yours have the most amazing holiday and a wonderful New Year.

  3. Tutorials and reviews of new heads/bodies/parts would be good. I know that it’s hard to keep up with clothing but it’s not really necessary anymore since the bodies have proliferated and the market has adjusted. You’ve done a great job and this site is still a fabulous resource.

  4. I think it will be great if you can update the mesh bodies and bento heads since I find that many of the ones here are the older versions. Might be more helpful to people who are looking for a change in look and stuff.
