Lately it seems like every post I write, there’s a new mesh head on the market, and this week is no exception. Maybe it’s time for weekly mesh head finds? LOL. Before I get into the Mesh Head run down, I just wanted to highlight to all the mesh body fashion designers out there that I’ve finally found time to set up advertising on my blog (which you can see to the right). To find out how to advertise your business, you can find the info here 🙂 For my readers, the designers advertising on the left side menu are helping me to financially support my blog, so give them love and click to find out more about their brands 🙂 Thank you all <3 Now enough of that jazz!
This week we’ve seen two mesh head releases, the first (above) is the new Kirsten mesh head by GA.EG (the collaboration between Gaelene Creations and Ellegance). I’ve reviewed this mesh head in full so you can guys can read about it here (and see it on my mesh head table here) but in summary, the head does come with emotions, animations and it does blink/have moving lips 🙂 It’s not Omega compatible, although I believe they are investigating this possibility at the moment. The head will work will mesh bodies, and sat well on all of mine (even TMP with the retrofit neck wasn’t too bad). You can grab a demo at GA.EG here.
The second mesh head for this week is Olivia by Genesis Labs. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Genesis Labs, they have released quite a few mesh heads now and typically release them at events, although you can see their collection at their store here. Here is their latest, Olivia, who you can find at this round of The Seasons Story!
Now on to other news – the new MBA Bi-Monthly event starts in 9 days (eep!!) so I’m going to be well and truly immersed in setting that up and organising the amazing line up of designers who will be taking part, so it may be a quiet week for me blog wise, however I came across something quite interesting this week while reading Strawberry Singh’s blog. It seems YouTube has created some kind of ‘streaming’ video feature, that allows individuals to show (real time and after the fact by just watching the video) the user’s screen. I think this kind of technology could be really helpful for workshops and tutorials about mesh bodies, because the main barrier has always been trying to explain what I’m seeing on my screen when I’m answering questions from people – so what do you think? Workshops with live video streaming? Would love your thoughts so as always, leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts MAddicts!
I’m also considering a few new ‘technologies’ for the blog – namely, a Forum or Question/Answer board. I thought it may be useful for people to have somewhere less time-reliant (such as group chats, which rely on you being in chat at the time of the conversation) for people to discuss mesh heads/bodies, pros and cons and help each other with questions. Would you use it? Let me know below!
Until next time!
