Review

The best bits:

  • Both heads are really sexy and come with a range of skin tones from really light to quite dark, which makes them really versatile.
  • The beard options are a really nice touch, as are the ability to alpha ears and the hairbase.
  • I like that the heads give men the option to have a moving mouth when talking and blinking eyes – these little touches of realism have been missing from a lot of male heads I think.
  • The heads are quite clean and work well on Adam, Slink Physique male and TMP bodies when I tested, which is great. I’d love to see some more neck specific neck options for each body type though, to give a really snug fit on the neckline.
  • I love that the heads come with the body appliers and system layer skins for all 5 tones – there’s nothing worse than buying a head then struggling to find a body applier for it.
  • I really love the Pablo head – the Mike head still feels a little flat to me, but Pablo’s features really pop and give him a realistic look.

The worst bits:

  • I would love it if the expressions were a little more refined – mind you when mesh heads smile they always look a bit creepy, but some of the expressions (like the wink) distort the mesh over the eyes a little and give a bit of a half-paralysed face look.
  • On the expressions again, I would really like to see the HUD show or say what the expressions are. The number system keeps it simple, but it’s difficult to remember which number has the expression you want – so if you want to smile, you might end up crying, yelling and winking before you find the right button hehe.
  • Not really a worst bit, but Akeruka if you’re reading this – can you start including Adam mesh body appliers? Dario thanks you 😉
