Mesh Head News & Make your own Mesh Head!

Hi Maddicts!

I am so so excited to announce my first product release! Yaaaay! The outfit I’m wearing above is mine (wow) and is part of a Cheerleader set I have made for this round of MBA Bi-Monthly. I’ve included sizes for Maitreya, Belleza (Isis and Freya) and Slink (Hourglass and Physique). There are lots of different sayings and colours to choose from, so check it out, I hope you guys like it!

As promised, this week I’m sharing with you some mesh heads news – in particular, I’m sharing a vlog I’ve done featuring some new software that enables you to make your own mesh head!

The software is Yabusaka Mesh Head Studio, which you can purchase for 9,999L on marketplace. There’s also a demo version available here. If you’re looking for more tutorials and videos on this product, you can find it on their website here. For more info, watch the video below!

We also have some new releases this week from Catwa – she’s released the new basic head AnnaGrey, as well as Ashanty and Skye static heads, which you can find in Catwa mainstore!

I have also newly updated the Akeruka female mesh head page to include all the updates to their mesh head range, read all about it here. Their new mesh head, Viola, is also available in store now!

It’s also really exciting that right now Akeruka has a ‘bento ready’ test model in their store that group members can use. Just remember, bento isn’t rolled out yet, so you can only see the functions of the head using the beta bento viewer. Akeruka has also announced that of their mesh heads will be made bento compatible once bento is rolled out (still no date on that), so stay tuned!

  1. Your Cheerleader outfit is great can’t wait to see all the sayings and colors. Bento is exciting and seeing a glimpse of what it can do for mesh heads feels like it opens up possibilities in a huge way. Thank you for making sure we know what is going on!

  2. The mesh head studio has been out for a very long time and is not terribly expensive when you think about what it is capable of. The only issue is the sliders do not match up to sl sliders so it can be a tad tricky to actually make your own face. However you still will need to learn scripting but Omega would solve that issue.

    • Yes correct, I was just trying not to confuse people by saying it’s available for ‘regular’ users (ie. using the normal viewer) but the vlog does state that they can use the project viewer to see it 🙂

  3. Congrats, Daria! The outfit is cute and I’m sure it will be popular for Halloween!

As for Akeruka, I’m super glad that they will retrofit all their heads. Other brands should take notice *cough*Lelutka*cough*. I doubt that Catwa will retrofit all of her heads, but I’d hope that the static heads will get retrofitted, as well as the basic heads. Once people come out with new facial animations for Bento, things should get very interesting.
