The HUD:

New HUD 2.7 RGB HUD V1.1

The best bits:
  • Seamless fit to Slink hands and feet (as you would expect)
  • Ability to wear asymmetical outfits (ie. one sleeved shirts) because arms are not mirrored (like sl and many mesh body’s arms are)
  • Panties layer is a shorter layer (panty size) so reduces glitching when wearing panties and pants layer at the same time
  • Applier clothing and even fitmesh clothing becoming more widely available
  • You can keep your slink shoe collection!
  • Body in the new version is far more shapely
  • I had far less issues with this body actually showing in world – It loads fast for both me and those around me.
  • 8 Alpha save slots! Saves a lot of time (if you can remember which is which)
  • Now Omega compatible!! (as of 9th Sept 2015)
The worst bits:
  • Needs more alpha cuts, particularly around the breast area
  • The body isn’t as svelte as the others, but is still slender and shapely
  • Breasts aren’t as smoothly shaped and become squarish when made large
  • Difficult to have a ‘curvier’ or ‘fuller’ shape as the body is quite petite
Best suited to:

Slink lovers; users who are new to mesh bodies and users who like an athletic build. Also very well suited to those who want performance (ie. less glitching issues and less ‘floating head syndrome’ from the body not rezzing) over other features other bodies may offer.

    • Hey Amara – follow this:

      6) My body has weird shadows on it/looks really strange!?
For Mesh Bodies to render correctly, you must have ‘Hardware skinning’ enabled in your settings, or it will look like you’re deflating. For Firestorm users you can find this setting in your Preferences – Graphics tab (tick the box that says’ hardware skinning’). This basically allows some aspects of avatar rendering to be handled by your graphics card, which increases performance, especially for heavy render items like mesh bodies. For 99% of people, this must be ticked for mesh bodies to ‘look’ correct.

  2. Hello, does anyone use this Slink Physique mesh body with Lolas Tango mesh breasts? Do they work together well? Also I really like to know the differences among those 3 types Lolas Tango breasts. It’d be great to hear any info or advice from you guys before buying them.

  3. The normal slink body is alright. i don’t like it or use it but other people do and that’s fine, theres nothing overtly wrong with it. however if you’re looking into getting hourglass, i suggest not. its very difficult to get it into a shape that doesn’t look awkward. only a handful of shapes look alright, but the point of a mesh body is to have a shape that you feel is you. this is why i also don’t like when terrible clothing creators make the excuse “just change your shape!” when a top or pair of pants fit terribly. sometimes the waist on hourglass is horribly skinny. sometimes its got awkward lumps. the butt won’t go below a certain size without caving in and the breasts have this weird torpedo look over 50%. most of the time the shapes you find for it on the market don’t look as good inworld either. if you can handle a very very awkward looking figure go for hourglass.
